The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world’s largest voluntary health
organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services.  The Society is a nonprofit organization that relies on the generosity of individual and corporate contributions to advance its mission.

Our Mission

To cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and to improve
the quality of life of patients and their families.

Get Involved

Each year The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society holds a number of events right in your own backyard.  From awareness walks, to marathons, to sailboat races, we offer a variety of ways for individuals and corporations to make a difference in their community.

 Take a Step…

Light The Night is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s annual evening walk to celebrate and commemorate lives touched by cancer.  Every year, teams of friends, families and co-workers gather in cities and towns across America to walk 2.5 miles.  They walk in twilight, holding illuminated balloons – white for survivors and red for supporters.  More than a walk, the evening includes music, food and family activities.

Patient Services

The Society has a network of 63 chapters throughout the country conducting life-enhancing patient services, including support groups, peer consulting and patient financial aid.

The Society’s Information Resource Center (IRC), staffed by social workers, nurses and health educators, provides the most current information on leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma free of charge.  Call the IRC at 800.955.4572 or visit the Society’s Web site at www.lls.org/nca.
